Tim Mousel, M.S.
Founder & CEO
Tim has taught in higher education since 1993. He chairs the Lone Star College System-Wide AI Task Force, consults on AI for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and created the Texas DIR-certified AI awareness course for state employees.
Tim Mousel, M.S., is a professor, higher education leader, TEDx speaker, and AI educational consultant who helps colleges, agencies, and organizations put artificial intelligence to work. He has taught in higher education since 1993 and is a full-time faculty member in the Kinesiology department at Lone Star College-CyFair, where he also chairs the Lone Star College System-Wide AI Task Force.
Tim's insights on generative AI in higher education have been featured four times in Forbes, and Harvard University published his work in the AI Pedagogy Project from metaLAB at Harvard. In September 2025 he was invited to the White House to participate in the White House AI Task Force on Artificial Intelligence Education, and the following month OpenAI invited him to its inaugural Higher Education Forum at its San Francisco headquarters. He serves as an AI educational consultant for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and has presented to the Department of Defense and Space Force. He delivered "AI Will Teach Us All" at TEDxLone Star College.
An award-winning educator, Tim received the 2022 Lone Star College-Online Faculty Excellence Award, the 2023 NISOD Excellence Award, and Master Presenter recognition in 2023 and 2025 at the University of Texas International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence. He built two commercial educational AI tools, PocketAI.Online and eFit.Software, before the release of ChatGPT, and he created the Texas DIR-certified AI Awareness for Texas Government and the Texas Cyber Command-certified Cybersecurity Awareness for Texas Government training programs.

Monica Kamion, M.S.
Director of Curriculum & Training
Monica is a full-time professor of biology at one of the nation’s largest colleges and a doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at Texas A&M University. She brings AI and virtual reality into STEM and computational thinking curriculum.
With substantial teaching experience spanning K-12 and higher education, Monica specializes in the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality into STEM and computational thinking curriculum.
She has served as a teacher of teachers in science education in several districts, including Bryan ISD, and has taken an active part in teacher education research. Her expertise in pedagogy and technology, combined with a strong foundation in biology and human physiology, has contributed to NSF-funded research on interdisciplinary approaches that integrate computational thinking into science education.
She has led initiatives in AI literacy, curriculum design, and faculty development, authored STEM+C and AI-focused pedagogical content, and presented at regional and national conferences including NISOD, CAST, and ISTE.

Before you book
What does an engagement cost?
Every engagement gets a fixed quote, set by length, group size, how much we tailor the material, and travel. We send it after a free 30-minute consultation, so you know the full cost before anything is scheduled. Texas employers can often cover direct training costs through the TWC Skills Development Fund.
Can you tailor sessions to our disciplines and our approved AI tools?
Yes. The planning call covers who will attend, the courses or roles involved, and which tools your institution has approved, such as Microsoft Copilot. Examples, practice tasks, and templates are built around that.
Do you work with K-12 schools and districts?
Yes. Our workshops serve K-12 teachers and administrators as well as college faculty, and our Director of Curriculum and Training has trained teachers across K-12 and higher education.
Do you deliver in person or virtually?
Both. We are based in Texas, deliver on campus in Texas and other states, and run live virtual sessions for distributed teams.
How do you handle academic integrity and data privacy?
Integrity is designed into the training. The ARAD 2.0 framework (AI-Responsive Assignment Design) helps faculty set how much AI each assignment allows, from restricted to required, and every hands-on activity uses tools and data practices your campus already approves.
Can grant funds pay for training?
Often. We map training and documentation to the requirements of the funding source, including DOE, NSF, WIOA, and Title V programs. Texas businesses can partner with a public college on a Skills Development Fund grant; our SDF guide explains how that works.
