By installing, accessing, or using the Universal Prompt Memory Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Universal Prompt Memory is a free Chrome browser extension that allows users to save, organize, and insert text prompts into web-based text fields. The Extension stores all user data locally within the Chrome browser using Chrome's built-in storage API.

3. License to Use

Evolve AI Institute LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal or commercial purposes at no cost. You may use the Extension on any number of devices you own or control.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Extension
  • Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the Extension to third parties
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Extension
  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose

4. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its design, code, features, logo, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Evolve AI Institute LLC. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Prompts and content you create, save, or import using the Extension remain your property. The Extension does not claim ownership of your content.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The prompts and content you save, create, and use through the Extension
  • Maintaining backups of your data using the Extension's export feature
  • Ensuring your use of the Extension complies with applicable laws and the terms of service of websites you interact with
  • Any content you insert into third-party websites or services using the Extension

6. Data Storage and Privacy

All prompt data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. The Extension does not transmit your prompts or personal data to any external servers. For full details on data handling, please review our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for backing up your data. Uninstalling the Extension or clearing browser data will permanently delete all stored prompts.

7. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Evolve AI Institute LLC does not warrant that:

  • The Extension will meet your specific requirements
  • The Extension will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The Extension will be compatible with all websites or web applications
  • Any errors in the Extension will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evolve AI Institute LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension.

In no event shall the total liability of Evolve AI Institute LLC exceed the amount you paid for the Extension (which is zero, as the Extension is free).

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension is designed to work alongside third-party websites and services (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Gmail, and others). Evolve AI Institute LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service.

10. Modifications to the Extension

Evolve AI Institute LLC reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Extension at any time without prior notice. We may release updates through the Chrome Web Store that modify or add features.

11. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Extension and uninstall it at any time. Evolve AI Institute LLC reserves the right to terminate or restrict access to the Extension if these Terms are violated.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
